So doubt a strut bar is a problem, it’s the part where the hood curves down towards the front bumper you’ll need to check. Your varis hood is great!

I have a question about heat.
I’m running the 210SPS, intercooled version of the Sprintex. Love it! But it does generate a fair bit of heat. Particularly when we have mid summer days around 35C/95f and sometimes hotter. I do try and run a bit of ethanol as it burns a bit cooler than normal petrol, but can’t always get it. I have also done a 6 month oil change (instead of annual) with some great liquimoly oil. 1. Do vents in the hood really make a difference? 2. I’ve been offered a better coolant option for the intercooler which apparently helps keep average temps down a good 5-8C (tested and verified apparently, but it’s info from my local installer who hasn’t steered me wrong yet). 3. Other options to consider? I’m not looking to spend huge cash on this.

Water meth kit especially pre throtte body will drastically help charge temps as well. |

Well, I'm now waiting on delivery for a 210 non-intercooled. It's used, but rebuilt/overhauled by Jon Bond Performance, which I hear do good work.
This year, my plan is stock fuel system and clutch (if it'll last) on straight E85, a mild tune for about 250-260 whp. Does that sound reasonable? My car has barely done 22k miles. It's a 2013, so I'm planning on having the valve spring recall done before installing the charger. Already have the ACE Alpha 350 header and overpipe and a full exhaust. Will add an oil cooler too, but the car will be 100% street driven. Any thoughts? All input is appreciated!

I just finalized my DT tune for intercooled 210 with stock 75mm pulley on 92octane. Also have ace 250 header and 4.56 FD swap in an auto. With out launching at all, leaving all nannies on, auto shifting, just filled gas tank 100% (Basically not even trying) I logged a 5.7sec 0-60 and 13.9sec 1/4 with draggy. Before the SC the best I got with launching at 2500rpm, all nannies off, manual shifting, 1/3rd tank gas (try hard) was 6.6sec 0-60 and 14.8sec 1/4. Definitely a lot faster and more fun. Just need to manage all that extra heat. |

Unlike others, I don't experience heat soak much -- I believe it is totally a factor in where you live and the environment. If you aren't driving around in 80+ degree weather all the time in the baking sun you won't heatsoak nearly as bad. In Indiana I seem to do OK -- but I also don't pound around for minutes on end because the roads here aren't twisty and fun in most places. For me, on E85 (which burns cooler anyway), I have no real need for the intercooled setup -- It would really just introduce another point of failure in the system. |

Remember MTs are a full second faster 0-60 purely because they can launch. 5-60 they are almost equal. stock 0-60 neither launching the MT does 7.8sec AT does 8.1sec. AT can launch at 2400rpm and get to 7.6sec, MT launch can get to 6.4sec. if an AT could launch the same they would be at 6.7sec. like i mentioned TC was on, and i took off dead stop no launch. Also the second half of the 1/4 was a slight incline which probably dropped trap from 102mph to 100mph flat. But who really cares about stop light racing or drag racing. Are you really going to launch off every stop light? lol. I am probably 3 full seconds faster 60-120 where launching doesn't matter. You would get walked all day long while I am driving with my knees, sipping on coffee, and typing up an essay. Just for reference a 370z nismo with intake/exhaust/lwc pulley, recorded a 0-60mph in 4.5sec, also recorded 40-80mph in 5.8sec. His 0-60 is about a full second faster, but I recorded 40-80mph in 5.5sec, .3sec faster. In a Hwy pull I am walking away. Off the line he will be faster and ill be chasing him down pulling even just after the 1/4th. Then walking away after. |

Try hitting them up, looks like they actually make pulleys for the Sprintex in house. Not a bad price either. |

If you guys had to choose a tune which would shop/tuner would you use for a remote tune:
Moto-east Delicious tunning Drift office Leaning towards Moto East as the current owner of the kit had Moto East and everything was good but I would love to hear peoples thoughts. I know James from HRI is good but he does not do remote tunes anymore. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk
