Even at 23 you would be considered and old guy on here now. As they get cheaper the average age of the owner plummets.

Any chance at all you have a picture? I'm pretty familiar with kershaws..

No pictures unfortunately, but you are right, the filters are actually pretty helpful once I figured out what the names of the features were (after an hour or so of google-fu and youtubing lol). Guess I had a folding, speedsafe assisted, frame lock, scallop serrated, 4" blade with a deep carry pocket clip. Not bad coming from an initial search of "black color"

Still have to look through the remaining 20 or so results haha. But it looks like my knife may have been discontinued.

Lol, looking forward to this. Really enjoyed the first one. Just got the game last night after dusting off my PS4. Spent most of the time updating the PS4, downloading the game and cleaning my controller (d-pad and left shoulder buttons were oddly sticky and crunchy...kids...). Finally finished installing but only got to play thru the first couple missions (saving John) before I had to go bed (yes, I have to stick to my bed time or else I'm useless in the morning, which leads to an unhappy wife = no gaming time haha)

I've been talking with my pension people today. Seems I was doing the retirement estimate wrong. Looks like I'll be getting a little more than I expected. Also learned that years of service credit is calculated at 10% a month for the first 10 months of the FY, so no service credit accrual for May and June. So in other words, no difference in retirement calculation if I retire April 30, or June 30. April 30 is sounding good now. 6 more months, exactly.

So excite.

And you were bitching about having worked in one place for so long!
I have never stayed with one employer for more than a few years and at my current pension level can retire sometime around age 76.

Even at 35, I'm already excited that I'm more than halfway to retirement. Been putting into my 401k and IRA ever since I've had a "real" job at 23.

So what's the plan? Lounge around, eat/drink and drive? My parents both retired back in July and they pretty much hate each other now and are desperate to find something to do. My mom is now volunteering for her church and my dad tore off the backyard lawn to plant all kinds of veggies and fruit plants. Also, I'm so sick and tired of zucchinis...

It hasn't been a fun ride a lot of the time. The last 2 years with the new boss have been challenging.

If I stayed in San Jose, 76 sounds about right. You'll have to come visit us in Boise. Sorry, no Harry's Hofbrau, but we'll find something.

Maybe I'll get a part time job.
