Haven't really posted here in a while. It's been hella crazy life, so barely cleaning up the sale thread.
Update w my life. - This year's 86EXPO ended successfully. Made over $600 in donation for Make-a-Wish charity. - After crazy home hunting and other nightmare stuff, finally found a place & this weekend, will be moving. - Wedding stuff is set and paid. I'm pretty sure there will be last min stuff need to buy, but not too worried. I'm just hoping everything will slow down by end of this month... |

CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a homeowner ........ Be sure your homeowners insurance is in place. I suggest you change all the locks on the outside doors and re-program the electric garage opener (if it has one). humfrz |

Not sure how safe it is. But my fiancé's fam have been using same kind for a long time, but never had any problem. I think, it's equally safe as normal locks.

If there is a condo or HOA (Home Owners Association), I suggest you contact the associations president and introduce yourself and obtain a copy of the last homeowners/condo association meeting minutes (you don't want any pending association dues or levies sneaking up on you). Also, obtain a copy of the CC&Rs. I suggest you locate the main gas and water and electrical panel, to be able to shut off in case of an emergency. The water shutoff is usually under the house or in a closet (nothing like trying to find the water shutoff quickly if something starts leaking). NOW, your new wife will want it painted on the inside, all new furniture and all new window coverings...... So, just sit back, relax and enjoy your new home ....... humfrz |
