Looking at the pictures online, I'm going to say yes. It may be close on the exhaust cutout area as it's quite a bit shunted to the passenger side but that's really difficult to tell from pictures. The rest of the exhaust should fit without issue .

Feel free to e-mail me (sales@velox-motorsports.com) if you'd like a drawing showing the size and location of the exhaust cutout.

Didn't see a response to the fitment of the FT-86 SPEEDFACTORY rear diffuser for the STI axleback.

@VeloxEric @FT-86 SpeedFactory whats the verdict?

This was likely a quick install for pictures or something of that nature. I know a few guys running around on just the front two and rear two mounts, but we wouldn't suggest it.

I cannot find any good pictures of the STI axleback. Assuming it follows a similar profile to OEM, yes it will fit. With the OEM exhaust, the closest part to hitting is the area directly after the rear sub-frame that shoots off to the driver's side. The rest of the exhaust clears easily and quite well.

Thanks for the response. I plan on ordering the FT-86Speedfactory rear diffuser so I will confirm and take pics.

My GT86 is my daily driver and I don't really track it.
Would I still benefit from this diffuser like on the highway with better stability, mileage and grip through high speed corners without the front splitter? I would be in the market for the non-aggressive version...

At first I was interested in the Velox street splitter but I think the unpracticality of it (thinking of likelihood of damaging it against curbs) overrules the gains when not racing.
I'm also not a big fan of the race upgrade hangers, and I guess they would be a necessity if going more than 160 km/h.

This is a difficult question to answer as one person's definition of beneficial is another personal superficial.

The diffuser will do all the things you stated (increased fuel economy, reduction in lift, better stability) and it will do them without the front splitter. The front splitter and rear diffuser work well in harmony but do not need one another to work.

That is correct, the front splitter race upgrade is recommended at speeds greater than 130 KPH due to the forces it sees.

As promised, pics of the STI axleback installed. The size is similar to the OEM and looks like it should clear. If you need more pics or a specific angle, let me know.
