That's a shame they got rid of the DRL strip on the bumper. I'm all for the boomerangs being DRLs now, but that led strip is such a clean look on the car.

I see the fog light marking on the stalk through the interior shot tho

new BRZ is not at NYIAS and subaru has no plans to release anything,at the moment it remains a guarded secret. Stay tune for more developments.

I wonder if the BRZ will also get this updated diffuser? I can see the aftermarket diffusers sitting more flush with this one. Also i like the dash on the 86 better (doesn't turn into piano black randomly)

I think the piano-black thing was just because its a test car interior.

Looks like they are standardizing some aftermarket parts with the leather/red stitched dash panels, and new knobs (maybe aluminum?). I like the purity of my steering wheel, but volume controls and "next song" controls would be better and safer; I would use them a lot. The face lift on the front look more modern and edgy, especially the headlights, which have components of the brz and gt86/monogram headlights. Same can be said of the tail lights; they look aftermarket and a big improvement. I still love my tom's, but they look like a knockoff of a few different aftermarket lights. The knob looks like the Baruta knob. If it is aluminum and not plastic then that is good.

Not sure if this has been asked already but, how likely do you guys think these changes will be on the 2017 model? I've been wanting to get a brz soon like crazy, but since this popped up, I might just wait a bit longer for the facelift. However, if find out later that it won't happen till 2018 or later, it would kill me
