I'll keep it until it dies. People say "oh, you'll say that now, but down the road...". So be it. For now I'm going to say I'm keeping it until it dies. I treat it really well and it's a weekend cruiser. When that gets old, it'll be a Spring/Summer/Fall daily driver and when that gets older, it's going to be tracked. In 5-10 years when something good comes out, this car will be saved for weekend track runs and my new vehicle as a weekend cruiser or good weather dd.

I use to say that I would keep a car for several years... But that has never happened, maybe because I'm a bit spoiled... I admit.

I plan to realistically keep my FR-S for perhaps 2-3 years, or until the powertrain mileage warranty is up (60k miles).

However, I will most likely trade-in for an updated version of the FR-S at that time... Unless I happen to have a terrible experience in owning this car, I'll go with something else... So far @ 5k miles, the car has been above my expectations.

Probably a very long time. I said that with my last car ('08 Evo) but wanted to go in a different direction. Ideally I'd keep this forever and maybe grab another, better version down the line to stow away... I'm sure I'll need something with 4 doors eventually too.

I will probably keep mine until they come out with a TRD or STi version.
I'm thinking by that time I will have a 2nd car as a daily driver so I can keep the miles off of her.

But Bunta that is a race engine, you could go to jail!

I plan on keeping mine for at least 5 years. That is about as far as I usually get with projects. I think this one may last longer though because there are so many parts available I can play for ever.

I plan to drive it on this motor, maybe turbo it, until it dies and then swap in a new motor.
