Is that with or without a driver sitting in it? My understanding was that once you put a driver in it, it shifts the distribution toward the center to near 50/50.

But you're not sitting in the front. You're sitting near the center. If the COG started forward, putting more weight in the center would shift it toward the rear.

I get 54.x% also (me in but high autocross gas levels, 1/4 tank or so). And that's with the only weight reduction being up front (OK, no trunk junk either...) I weighed it when I got it home for the first time too, forget what it measured. Probably have it somewhere.

Just checking in after the preliminary testing on the Xida protos. I think we got all the dimensions spot on. We tweaked strokes and body lengths from OEM slightly. Those willing to remove or modify front fender liners or trim a tiny bit from the rear bumper skin can achieve additional bump travel. The advantage there is being able to run lower for competition without bottoming. As the system will have a small amount of ride height adjustment along with the usual preload adjustment, it will still accommodate taller than OEM 255/40/17 and completely unmodified fenders/liners. We will ship the kits adjusted to that length so no one will have tire clearance issues out of the box. But for those that are willing to go off the reservation with big tires and competition ride heights, and willing to mess with the fenders, more bump travel is available.
Before anyone asks the inevitable "How low!!??", the limits will be tire clearance, not the Xidas. Damping wise, our bump/rebound ratios and digression are just about spot on for sporting and competition use. The softest settings for daily driving on soft springs need to be even softer. So we will make some tweaks to the valving and continue testing. Even with the current valving, they already ride much better than OEM on the springs stiffer than the RCE yellows. The stock shocks inability to soak up big sharp hits is magically fixed. Really happy that our first prototype config is really close to final production spec, just a few small tweaks to low speed comp on the soft end and a bit more digression on the stiffer settings. One thing we suspected, and seems to be supported by our initial test drives, the FR-S in particular, does not need a bunch more rear sway bar as most tuners would suggest. We're still running the stock rear even with Hoosiers, just a slightly larger front so far.

949 Racing: how are xida's strut bolt holes placed, is "camber out of-box" with them same as OE or more (even without camberbolts/camberplates, especially in front)? As for how low .. i'm from those weirdos, that would wish for ride height to be tunable at least to stock height. Given local roads & speedbumps here, no slightest wish to go lower then OE even slightly.

You re not going to have reliability issue with the rear axles running so low?

vgarcin: i guess, for rear, just as with other overlowering means in past, one can just install diff riser.

949 Racing: if it's hard decision on what camber choose for set as defaults, what do you think of implementing something like many rally coilovers have - slotted strut hole with different offset inserts, something like this #1, #2, #3, #4? Should provide secure against slipping adjustability even without adjustable topmounts or camberbolts.
