FRS vs 86 Stock Clutch

Hi,

I have a 2014 FRS manual transmission with stock clutch

After having a chance to drive a brand new Manual Transmission Toyota 86 from the dealership, I notice the clutch feels way lighter compared to my FRS?

Is this normal or does my clutch have problems

Car is at 76k km

Thank you

Do you still have the clutch return spring installed?

The throwout bearing starts to hang up on the quill as it galls. They are replaceable. @Tcoat knows what I mean.

You're about at that point in your mileage. Clutch work is expensive but worth the peace of mind.

Yep, clutch gets heavier as tob wears. Clutch wear itself also causes a bit heavier clutch. Maybe fresh fluid makes a difference too.
