As much as I dislike the blue coloring, it figures that it has fallen victim to cheap impersonations. Every $30 muffler on eBay can be purchased with a blue tip now.

For a catback w/o any other mods, sounds about right. add in catless front pipe, and catless header and it'll be LOUD

As above really, I wouldn't have expected anything more. Glad the OP is happy with it, couldn't justify it myself. I understand paying extra for quality, but there are plenty of other exhausts of a more than acceptable quality which will do exactly the same thing.

Oh? I guess that depends on what this "thing" you are referring to is. If it's power gain and sound, then yes, many others available for less. If you're looking for ultimate weight savings associated with a full quality ti system, not much selection available. If course, there's the Tomei single systems, but I don't really like the sound of those.

If Tomei would make a Ti dual exit full header back system, then I may jump on that. Else, an Amuse/Tomei mix n match seems to be in my future.

I saw they recently released an overpipe, but I can't tell if it's Ti or not, looks like it is by the thinner flanges.

Yes, it's Ti. Avail in 60 and 70mm. Weighs like 2lbs. Match that with Tomei front (amuse available, but nearly 3x cost for 1lb difference).

Dual exit Ti is only available from Amuse, Rowen, and Greddy.

To be fair, I'm trying not to get caught up in this whole weight saving thing. People are getting very anal about it and it's sorta tragic. Some areas of weight saving are understandable though. Most of my parts fitted weigh less than standard (stock) if not the same. I guess adding a few kg's for a nice cat back that isn't an Amuse system is the price I'll have to pay!

Exclusivity is pricey. Some can afford it, some can't.

its cost a lot for sure, they did a lot of r&d and it makes really good power with the amuse front pipe, i have a catless EL header and this car feels like a whole new car. Amuse is gonna take my money on their overpipe as well. Best setup for gt86 hands down!
