The jig is in the vice nice and level. Going to do more welding tomorrow. Hopefully I make decent progress.

I got the uprights welded. I wanted to tig them but I'm waiting on a gas lens kit so they got welded with the wire feed machine. Crossbars, and control arm mount will be next. Last will be the steering rack mount.

I changed the a arm portion on the jig to a more heavy material to resist distortion when welding the control arm mounts in. The unistrut pieces in front were the old ones. The new ones are 2 1/2" square tubing uprights welded to 2 1/4" horizontal pieces with holes through it representing the a arm location.

Made a little more progress. Control arm mounts made and tacked in place. It took all day just to make these four parts.

I got a couple more things done on the front crossmember. Had a friend final weld the control arm mounts in place. I also was able to make the side angled supports and tack them in. 6 pieces left to get this thing in the car so I can build the mounts for the engine and steering rack.

Crossmember minus the engine mounts . In the process of building them now. Lots of O.T. at work so probably 2 weeks out on getting those done.
