For reference, based on the magazine leaks, the size comparison for the Supra / RC / 86 in inches is:

Length - 172 / 184.4 / 166.7
Height - 50 / 55.1 / 50.6
Width - 73 /72.4 / 69.9
WB - 97 / 107.5 / 101.2

I think the wheelbase is so short for the Supra due to the lack of rear seats, and the aero stuff adds considerable length front and rear.

Thumbs down

lol, some of you guys...

There's not a chance in hell of this costing more than a BMW M2 while having less horsepower. The bend over backward thinking to try to make that make sense is just ridiculous.

The M2 makes more power, but also weighs more. If you want your car to weigh less you usually need to pay more.

The M2 weighs more than what? Vaporware? The ramblings of some JDM clickbait magazine?

I don't consider Bestcar as a clickbait magazine. I guess we will just have to wait.

I thought that being RWD was a given all along. Every piece of info I have read (real or speculation) said it would be.

It wasn't just prominent aftermarket vendors in Japan for the BRZ. We had a pre-production car for a week about a month before the car was released.

(But no, I haven't heard anything about this car yet. We're going to try to get one in the shop as soon as we can but my guess is it's too soon for that. It would be nice if Toyota sent one our way but I'm not too optimistic.)
