Impressive build, 2400lbs huh?
no sh.. thats awesome, note to self: throw away interior. get race seats. yay for a the 350 HP, thats got to be a blast to drive, right? for a lap or two.. nay for the heatsoak endemic to turbo'ing smaller high CR motors. it can be mitigated, ducted, and race radiator'd but getting hot oil to cool is gonna take a bit of ingenuity next. Will be great fun to watch this mature and evolve! EGT>HP |

By the way folks, I highly recommend subscribing to Drive and Fast Lane Daily. Those folks are like Top Gear 2 and a good bit of fun but with also lots of great car videos

Just some interesting math for everyone:
Assuming consistent drive train loss: 200(bhp)/165(whp) = 1.212 1.212*320(whp) = 387.878(bhp) 2400(lbs)/387.878(bhp) = 6.187 lbs/hp Porsche GT3 RS 4.0: 2998(lbs)/500(bhp) = 5.997 lbs/hp So while 320 whp doesn't sound like much, this car has a power to weight ratio that is nearly equivalent to a Porsche GT3 RS 4.0, unless my math is way off. |

I like that VCMC didn't make a ton of excuses.. They know they have a problem and say they will fix it.. Anyone that's been racing, no matter what, drag, auto cross, circuit, dirt, motorcycle, anything has heard a billion and one excuses in why something was happening.. These guys said they had a cooling problem and going to fix it..
I like that.. Was a great video, I'm guessing the reason the car likes off throttle or full throttle is because of the turbo lag correct??? |

Tuned: 350hp VCMC Turbo FR-S Review
Hopefully this has not been posted yet, but Tuned has reviewed a Turbo FR-S. Sadly, it's done by Matt Farah but that's how it goes.

Anyone notice the condensation in the passenger side tail light?
I've been watching Matt Farah for years. I love his work.
