So I guess I was right about the Sachs suspension then
Good to see that the shift light is on the tach, as one of our eagle eyed members hypothesized. Interesting about the "R" Version. Sounds like it'd make a great track weapon with an EJ257 plopped in the engine bay |

It's pretty great as far as regular auto boxes go. Dare I say even the best automatic outside of a DSG/Sequential box?

Interesting to see they show a cost of 25,000 pounds with no "est" next to it like they show after weight.

yay, thanks for posting
25k GBP is too much, thats 28.5k€ (or 40k$) that the handling was kinda bad gives me no wonders. To judge a car that consists of PT parts by half can give a good impression of the finished product, but can be far off, too. |

Not sure I am a fan of 2.5K RPMs at only 60mph in 6th. Thats a cruising gear, id rather 1.5k around there.

He did mention that the tyres were from a Prius. I'd imagine that went some way to affecting the handling score.

Wonder how long we have to wait to see the "R" version but if it comes with rollcage and no rear seats then it'll be great for the track but no so much on the street.

Because otherwise the auto-journalists would be able to offer more conclusive information about performance and handling. This was only a prototype so spring rates and shock valving were likely not completely refined....Crap tires help mask that.

Really sounds like that "R" spec is going to be the one to get, but I wonder how much more that's going to cost, or if Scion will even offer it. Didn't like that it doesn't seem like a neutral handling car. But maybe that's just the mule and the stock parts the car had.
