This is such good news that I'm confused now.

Such Amaze. I'm loving this new patch and I'm glad I fully upgraded almost all of my exotics lol. Can't wait to get home tonight and try out all of the new changes!

Yes, you still need to do the Raid in order to reach level 30. With that being said, it appears there is or will soon be a way to upgrade to 30 WITHOUT doing the VoG. I grinded Iron Banner when it was available the second time around and picked up the boots and gauntlets for my Titan. With those 2 pieces equipped and fully upgraded along with one exotic piece of armor equipped and fully upgraded I am and will continue to be level 29 until either getting a chest piece or helmet from the Raid or if there becomes another path to 30.

One of my buddies joined Gypsy Hunters so we're official now with 3 members and we're actively seeking new members! We will focus on all of the amazing gamemodes that destiny provides us; Pushing the purple ball around the tower, Crucible, Raids, Nightfalls, bounties, Sparrow Trick contests, Weeklies, Dailies, etc


The Patch already went live so when you get home tonight all you will have to do is download the update, I believe it's a 53mb update, and you will be good to go!

@skuts? @53Driver my time in RoR is coming to an end. They are all way too reluctant to enter the crucible and I basically live there when on Destiny. If it's okay with you guys I'd like to invite my friends too. Just a disclosure we're all primarily crucible players, but are willing to help in raids and strikes when needed. Let me know!

@MokSpeed That's fine with me dude! Lately I've been addicted to the crucible so I think me and you will be very good friends lol. Feel free to invite your friends and any others who are looking for a group of people to explore destiny and have a great time. Also the group is open to all consoles so don't feel left out if your playing on PS4/ PS3/ or the ole 360

Yeah man, do it! I know, I've mentioned Crucible to them back when I was trying to grind out the IB stuff and pretty much got told that they don't do that. Surprisingly, I found it to be much more enjoyable when I actually got to play with some other guys and they knew what they were doing. Lately I've actually been thinking of doing some more Crucible just to get a break from the PvE stuff.

Those are some great changes, happy materials can also be bought in the tower now I've been wanting that. Still ain't going to help me get to 30 though, I keep doing the raid and keep getting energy, shards, or the same ol' weapons. I should have grinded iron banner with my hunter then I probably would have had one lv30 character. All three of my characters are just chilling at lv29. Although just did my first hard mode raid and got a vex mythoclast. I guess no more cheesing the templar haha

I haven't had a whole lot of play time lately.. holidays and then prepping for Xmas, whatnot.. Glad to see some of those changes though. I think I'll take my Bad Juju out of storage now...and continue working on this Thorn quest.. ugh.

Still haven't done the raid lol. Everyone I know wants to, but it just seems we don't have everyone on at the same time.

Yeah, about that material purchasing in the Tower thing. Lesson learned, read closely before you start clicking things. I went to the Crucible Quartermaster last night to turn in some Spinmetal for rep/rank. When I got to him I was like "whoa you can turn in increments of 20 now"! Before I realized it, I had lost 20 of my Crucible rep points and bought more Spinmetal rather than getting rid of it! 20 Crucible rep points is a lot for me, now I'm definitely going to have to play some Crucible.

Overall, I like the changes so far. I didn't get to play much last night, but definitely liking the changes to the exotic gear/weapons. Is Xur going to be the only way to get exotic shards? I'm assuming they will also drop in the game? I need to read back and see if I missed that.
