Is this 2013 subaru brz a good deal or not?? Pls Help !

Hi i saw a used silver 2013 subaru brz limited with 10,812 miles for $22,800. Checked and test drove it everything looks good.

Or go with the 2013 scion frs "10 series" demo unit with 4,200 miles for $23,600. Checked and test drove it as well.

I really like both that is why I am having a really hard time making a decision.

Please let me know guys i have until tomorrow to decide... I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I feel like the demo unit was probably beaten on from day one.

Same goes with the brz as it's been sitting in their lot for almost a year now, from what i've been told by the general manager. That's the reason why they lowered the price by $2,000 so they could get rid of it this spring. And a lot of people were test driving it yesterday when i went there..

Thanks for the reply

Is it a CPO? Sounds like a killer deal.

I just paid close to 26k for my 10k '13 BRZ. It was the only WR blue around me so they wouldn't budge.

sounds reasonable. I just posted my limited brz for 25,500. We'll see if I have takers.

Got 16,000 miles. It's almost 2 years old. Purchased new on June 2012.

You don't want a NEW premium model BRZ for $24,000?

FWIW - there are A LOT of 2013 BRZs available. In NorCal... one with around 10k miles will sell for about $23k in full CPO config.

The best quote I got for a new 2014 Premium model was $25,500 from most of the SF Bay area dealers. For the limited around $27k.

The Limited Models are the ones most likely left on the lot at this point.
When I was shopping 3 weeks ago, the ratio of limited to premium models was like 4:1... so the dealers may be willing to deal on the limited ones as those are sitting in inventory a little TOO long.

For the FRS... they are down to $22,000 for a 10k mile 2013 car around here. I saw a Lava Red on in Fremont last week. If this car was available 3 weeks ago, would have been a tough choice against my Rally Blue BRZ.

Buy new. Not sure what prices are like in your area, but I can pick up a Premium or Limited '14 for $2K under MSRP like I did last week. I wouldn't touch anything used sitting that long.

BRZ all day. The production number is much less on the Subaru side, so in the end it will hold its value better.

Telling your friends you drive a "Rare Scion" or Subaru... I know its the same car at heart; however, adding the word "Rare" to Scion just sounds "Full Retard."

That seems more appropriate.

I don't know 2500 units, Tron-esque badging and tidbits... over the long-resale haul... it's gonna net back a few bucks in resale versus any comparable FRS or even the Limited BRZ. (http://www.scion.com/cars/scion_seri...ies+highlights)

But I'll concede - don't call it rare... uncommon may be a better term.

And don't use the word Retard - unless you actually used the word in grade school.
The correct term these days is "Re-tard".
