Windshield Repair (Small Chip)
Is there anything that anyone has used to get rid of a small chip? By small I mean the size of a pinhead. I can't even feel it with my finger it's that small. It really isnt deep at all. I probably wouldn't care but it's right in front of my face while driving. Any ideas?

Take it to a windshield repair shop. Should be cheap to fill. Most insurance even does this for free.. No hit to premiums.

But it catches my eye everytime the car moves because it's right in front of my face. I've read steel wool 0000 and WD 40 might do the trick but I hesitate to mess with that. |

Call Safelite, I'm pretty sure they have an epoxy or some filling material that will prevent it from getting worse.
O'Reilly carries a small glass chip repair product as well, but I've never personally used it Nick C.

Will do. I called them and they said they can either fill it or replace the whole windshield. It's so small and we are still in the winter months so I'm hoping they can make it look a little better by filling it.
