You seemed to indicate it came with staggered setup, and the real difference is my suspension works lol....just made 400 on my new VE motor, I have square setup 255/40-17 all around

TT FD3 almost gave me a fatality, had a 720* spinout doing 90 mph through the spaghetti bowl of Las Vegas. Glass in eyeball and luckily the rear end hit the wall not the front, the car was smashed like an accordion.

This car should be interesting nonetheless.

Yup, this will be my first RWD car. I've always driven FWD since I lived in New England, but now I'm in San Diego so I can drive whatever I want

Sad story bro. Glad your OK (I'm assuming). Did that accident scare you/change how you drive? I've never been in an accident so I may be a bit bold at times but I'm always careful. I had a friend who would take his S2000 to the limits every time he drove. Haha.

Yeah, I had a few FWD, and AWD cars for awhile, but I think I'm ready to get back on the horse. I used to auto-X a lot, so I'll probably do that again, as it will help me get used to the driving dynamics of the FR-S.l

When you get older, your brain calculates risk a little differently. I was a teenager when I had the rx-7, but now in my 30's should be a different story.

Yeah, I'm a little wiser than your average youngin' with such things. I started with a FWD auto sports car, moved to an AWD manual sports car, and am now ready for a RWD manual sports car. I also started with a 250cc sports bike when most people told me to get a 600cc or 1000cc race bike for my first bike. But I may get a 600cc one day. I have driven fast cars but they're not fun at lower speeds and are scary at high speeds so I don't really care for them. This car should be a good balance between speed, safety, and fun.

If you are nervous or care about what the people think behind you in the event you were to stall then YOU WILL STALL

At least this was my experience.

Everyone has to learn one way or another. I wish I just had the mindset of "F**K them** and I would have been more relaxed.

Give yourself a break. You've got a way better car than those people and it's your first.

Many of us feel nervous leaving the parking lot in a new car period. We are so afraid for something to happen to it we drive like a grandma for a week or two.

Why would you go so wide up front do you have understeer problems? Do you rub at all?

Will not be my first FR...will be the 4th.

Learned on a '84 Caprice Wagon, have a '98 Toyota Tacoma as a daily driver, and had a 4th gen '98 Camaro setup for autocross/track (and had a perfect seating position created with the racing seats and steering wheel - if the FR-S comes close to that I'll be happy). Have had 3 DA Integra's (one being a track car ~2300lbs) and a Honda Civic DX and my brother has a '05 Subaru RS I drive sometimes... so I'm used to FF, FR, and AWD. Much prefer FR layout for everything but wet driving; AWD in the wet with Hankook RS-3 is just insane how planted you can corner.

I've owned cars with more power, but the FD3S is the only car that I've been scared to push hard. It was so unpredictable, I could never find nor predict its limits. Only car I flat out lost control of in the dry... twice.

Still, if they went on sale again tomorrow, there would be one in my garage by the end of the week. That car is sex on wheels!
