Got the bolts off with a dremel and got the new one on the hangers. Just need to get some new bolts and a gasket and I'm in business!

I decided to install my Bayson side skirts today before painting them. I wanted to make sure about the fit, with out worrying about scratching fresh paint. And my paint shop says they can spray then just about as easy on the car. So here they are. Fit was perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Gonna take her for a nice night canyon run tonight. Nothing serious but a relaxed run.

So I haven't posted on here or logged on here in a while, mainly because I fell out of love with the FR-S. However, after a few months of not really driving it and keeping it put up I went out for a nice spirited drive in it. Needless to say she put me back under her spell. Since it's black friday today I bought newer coil overs, and have placed my order on some Work Meister wheels. Stretching them on a 215 35 18 tire. I know, "stance is stupid, blah blah ruining the car, blah blah". Sorry 'bout it.

It must have been a while 'cuz stance is now where it's at and all the cool kids are doing it!
Obviously you don't care what the "track rules" crowd care so post some pics when you get it done so us "looks count too" guys can admire it.

I just wanna be like the cool kids :thumb up:

I should have everything shipped in by next week, I'll have everything installed by Christmas. Hopefully NC doesn't go apeshit and start snowing.

Rydeen backup camera and trunk liner

Today I finished installing the Rydeen Duo that I started installing last week.

I had run the wires, but got stuck when the backup camera wire that came with the harness wouldn't fit into the connector for the head unit. I got replacements today and neither of those fit either. So I did what another owner suggested and just ran the wire into the connector and taped it to some nearby wires so it would stay put.

Wired the rest of the unit and put everything back together. Big relief to see that it works. The wiring was a bigger challenge than I expected. Nice to have the camera working, though.

I thought the stock head unit had the lines overlaid on the image, so I crimped the wires together on the Rydeen to turn off the lines in camera. Not feeling like pulling the rear side panels again to cut the wire to see if I like the lines or not. I'll try without the guides for now.

I put a bit of Second Skin liner and Overkill Pro I had leftover from my stereo install on the inside roof of the trunk then installed the trunk liner. Trunk liner took about two minutes.

Cheers,

Lee Dralle
