To each their own I guess. It is 18 degrees here and I just dove home with my windows open because I love the sound of my exhaust (3in strömung catback).

I'm with Dragonitti though, boxer rumble from the 86 wouldn't seem right. I like the sound of the exhaust that I've heard I the videos so far.

having just watched the vid i think people that wanted to hear a blow off valve heard a blow off valve.

This seems like a set up. Is this guy just hanging out at that spot all day or something? If anyone of us saw this car and had a video camera why in hell would you post just half a lap??? This really seems like some marketing thing, probably gauging interest in a turbo, prowling the forums and car mag websites, checking view counts etc.

Sounds like a BOV to me, but that car sounds like it needs quite a bit more tuning. Either way, wastegate or BOV, still a turbo

im having a hardtime trying to figure out why some of you think its wastegate flutter...maybe your thinking its the same as compressor surge? (which by the way its not)

A turbo BRZ .. I wonder if it'll be limited to the " BRZ STI (w/turbo) "
while the regular BRZ(premium) and BRZ Limited stay NA ...
either way .. NA is good enough for my in everyday situations..

As for the sound in the video I am not too sure..
my car sounds like it FARTS when I shift.
