Yeah, the FBM kit doesn't come with a smaller one, so I am struggling with getting the pipe, res, and fog light to happily coexist in that area. I haven't filled mine up since I got it, and it was still damn near too full to pull the neck out. I almost drained it all out and put some good fluid in, but I felt that would be wasteful, haha.

Wow, I never knew how obnoxiously big that washer fluid tank is on our cars! lol

I want a smaller one, lets stir up the vendor pot and get something going!

Good luck getting one out of Accelerated, haha. He might ship you an empty box then expect you to send him an e-mail of the missing parts so he can send them to you.

I'm not sure what's going on there, the only customer issue he had when I was there they took care of quickly. I didn't get any bad vibes from them when I was there. He reassembled his car just so I could go for a ride in it so from what little I've experienced with him it doesn't seem right but obviously the complaints from the two (I think just two?) members are legit.

Correct me if I'm wrong somebody, but I thought that I saw the supposed '14 BRZ STI with some rectangular ducting from underneath the front spliter that ducts cool air to the front brakes.

If you don't want to give up your fogs, that might be a good solution. Just wait a little for it to roll out. Or the aftermarket to duplicate it. From the pics I saw of it, it looked quite nice and neatly tucked under the spliter.

The OEM bottle mounts with two bolts, one is visible in the upper right hand corner, and the other is hidden behind the res and you will never find it unless you move the fender liner. That and the bottom post sits in a bracket with a hole like the coolant overflow tank. I would think something that mounts at the bottom in that same hole and a bracket to mount to some other random hole on the subframe would work well. The problem is the filler neck mounts to the top portion so maybe chopping off the entire bottom secion and just leaving that little top area and using the two OEM mounting locations would be best. Sounds like a great business opporunity.

No idea.. I haven't been paying attention to the STI rumors. Now that I have a car and I'm happy with it I don't think I'll be upgrading anyways.

Absolutely does sound like a good business opportunity! We should ping some vendors like @Turn in Concepts, @robispec, @GrimmSpeed, @Racecomp Engineering, @FA20Club.com, @Vigilant Motorsports

We're looking to replace the gigantic washer fluid reservoir with something much smaller. To give room for brake ducting, forced induction piping, etc.

iirc emptying the wiper fluid would give you a weight saving of 7 pounds. If someone could make a smaller one of 1-2 pounds that would be great.

Nice! Can you please post a pic of the back of those and maybe the sides? Is there a good amount of material to clamp down a hose?

Prorican, those look great!

ATL, I have been speaking with the manufactures about getting something made for cheaper, but I think those will come with time as more cars come to the market and more people are wanting to track them.

Thanks,
Rick
