It will be a standalone Motec controlling the engine, and from what i understand there will be a second cheaper ecu alternative

This is by far the most interesting swap on this platform! Fits the character of the car, good power potential, ability to retain AC. If the total cost is reasonable this might be a good path for long term ownership for me!

Just picked up a motor today. Starting to slowly collect necessary parts for this swap.

Cant wait to see this swap kit up and running.

Ive had constant issues with Subaru motors over various cars. Car is currently at dealer with a misfire issue. Needless to say im done with subaru motors lol love this chassis but its held back by the motor IMO. Ill take 300whp NA and dropping front end weight all day long.

I'm thinking the same honestly. If the swap is decently cost effective, clean and daily drivable (cluster, climate control, traction and ABS work), this is almost a no brainier.

Don't you hate it when you're texting and girl and her reply is " k "

@Pure Automotive, does it look like the factory or any aftermarket strut braces will fit over/around the K24?

Passenger side diagonal brace for sure looks like it wont fit, due to the tilt of the engine that way, unless the pictures are misleading.

K Swap Civic vs Supercharged FRS

Did you see their other video of the k swapped civic roll racing a new civic type R? Don't forget that the k civic is at least a couple hundred pounds lighter than the FRS too.

Oh snap, can't believe I just found this thread. Def interested! I experienced one B18c5 in my youth and been a closet Honda fanboy ever since. Can't wait to see the wiring and the car on the scales when it's said and done! Excellent work as usual @Pure Automotive.

Daily drove a 2JZ swapped brz for a while ( using Pures kit, and it sure was “daily friendly “ )

K20 with factory boost, if it didn't have the integrated turbo manifold I'd say it would be an awesome candidate for a swap as well. Not sure how well the stock turbo location would be with the engine running lengthwise in this platform. They even sell it as a crate motor!
