Yeah I know my P3Cars gauge displays Temp from the OBDII port. Pressure could also be monitored to ECU as well but in most cases its for the dummy light.
Some cars like Honda use Oil pressure to monitor and activate the vtaaaaaks in the ECU! I have not dug too deep into our cars yet in wiring

So, is the stock oil pressure sender just for the dummy light or is it used by ECU to anything else? Can I remove it without consequences?
I found some threads here where people removed it, but I just want to be sure.
Thanks.
The one close to the oil filter is the temp.

The one on the left (from the front) is the oil pressure switch. It is not a fail safe switch. Literally unplugging it and tucking the line will not cause the light to come on.

It sends no information to the ECU.

I unplugged mine and tucked the wire harness to feed oil to a turbo. It works fine. I unscrewed the switch and removed it completely. 1/8 NPT thread for the fitting into the engine.

The gallery plug to the left and in front of the A/C compressor is the place to put a real oil pressure sender for a gauge / standalone if you are so inclined.

Analog temp will work fine off that front port though.

Our cars in USA have no way from the factory to measure oil pressure. They do measure oil temperature. We have an oil pressure switch that simply illuminates a dummy light for pressure below 4psi if memory serves me correctly

I based my answer on my belief that people buy those dash mounted gauges which give multiple info, including oil pressure. They stick in the airvent and plug into the OBD11 connector.

Edit:- I was wrong. Sorry about that!!

Well, the king pdf has the element tuning car pictured. I would expect that these bearings are part of the solution. How much power for how long? I'd just call element and let them build it for you.

I am hopeful that this, along with the Reimax gear will fix all issues.

I'd love to call Element and have them build my motor, but I've been trying to give them my money for about a month and it is next to impossible to get them to call me back. Friends have similar experiences. I'm sure they do great work, they are just too busy to do mine.

I've got my motor situation sorted now. I've spoken to Phil before, he just never answers the phone and voicemails are rarely returned.

Flowers help. I hear Phil's partial to orchids but that's just a rumor.

Others can build engines. I would just grill them about the build, tolerances, part choice, and especially oiling. If they have not built and blown up a few fa20s they probably won't do a good job.

That's what made me pretty happy about choosing Moto-East for mine. Close enough to drive to, one of my drivers from work delivered my motor to the for me for free. They did 3 FA20s at the same time as mine, DIT from a WRX (that blew before the first scheduled oil change) and 2 NA ones. Plenty of others under their belt, and Mike and I had talk extensively on parts before hand.

Mine was the first Reimex gears they had seen I believe, but they now recommend them with builds.

@Moto-Phil, since you like the post. The car needs just 75 more miles before I can change the oil and beat on it. The oil cooler and bigger pump has made cold weather warm-ups get the oil up to temp way faster. I can't wait to pull that to redline this weekend.
