It's an easy mod and since I won't be replacing the catback for quite some time, it was worth the ~150 or so I spent on the tips.

Here is a little teaser until I get the video uploaded. I cruised yesterday in the Texas hill country with some fellow 86ers that are here on the forum.

C'thulhu has been dropped off at the dealer to take care of some I.O.U's. Getting fog lights and spoiler installed, then they're taking care of tint and multi-shield paint protection. Supposedly I should have the car back on Wednesday, but I somehow doubt that. I expect Thursday or Friday.

Doing my daily browsing for car parts and I saw the TSW Nurburgring wheels and now I am torn between both. I kinda like the looks of the Nurbs a bit more, but I also really like the look of the rpf1's and the lower weight is a win (all told I will probably never be able to tell the difference the weight makes, both are lighter than stock...)
VS.

rpf1's are approx. two and half pounds lighter each, which is quite a bit. The Nurbs are still around 3 pounds lighter than stock (I'm looking at the 17x8" sized wheels). My current line of thought is that I will have an improved setup either way I go, if I just look at #'s on paper the rpf1's are significantly greater but if I add in the subjective aspect of visual appeal with raw #'s they come out a bit even for me and possibly more in favor of the TSW Nurbs... decisions decisions... LOL
Also, I have a line on a forrester xt oil cooler from a fellow 86er on the boards... more info to come in the next few days or so!

Let me know how the forester oil cooler install goes - you doing it yourself? If I am available when you do it I could be an extra set of hands to help install. I am out of town (hence why I could not make the drive) but I have a oil catch pan and hood struts waiting for me to install when I get back to Austin on Sunday. The hood struts became a must after the last cars and coffee and a bit of wind dropping people's hoods except FRSMatts with the hood struts! But I will be removing one mod - I will be uninstalling the amp from OEMAudioPlus and sending it in because it seems too bright to me so they want to do some testing on it etc. FWIW I like the look of the nurbs better for your car... look more C'thulhu to me...

Pulled the trigger on Rally Armor mudflaps with the blue logo, Rexspeed wide angle side mirrors (the newer design that replaces the oem mirrors), Muteki open ended blue lug nuts, and Volk Racing blue valve stems (will return and replace with black/gunmetal if not a decent enough color match). My next purchase after this will be wheels and tires, excited to be continuing on with my mods, although I have decided to put the header upgrade back at least 6 months as the wheels will put a hit onto my finances.

I received C'thulhu back from the dealer today after getting some IOU's taken care of. Pictures have been posted on the 4th post.

Just placed an order for the 6000K low beam LED bulbs from @Diode Dynamics and that should complete my swap to LED bulbs. Just FYI for anyone interested, the stock low beam bulbs are a bit warmer than the white LED foglight bulbs and are close enough, but different enough to not look right together (not going to post pics cause I think its oogly).
