Just in case anybody knows someone looking for a BRZ in San Antonio area, DM me. I have a post in the vehicle classified section under SEMA built Varis widebody. I will also pay a finders fee to anyone that helps make a deal!

Nice. Got any pics? Any plans for it? What did you drive before?

Previously, '05 S2000, '79 TE31 Corolla, '84 Z31, & '99 FRC Corvette.

Current plans are to stay stock for a little and understand the car a little more, then go from there. Will probably start with tires, brakes, and maybe suspension. This car will be daily, canyon carver, and occasional track machine. So I'll have to attempt to find a balance in between those.

The previous owner was Toyota Lease Executive who ordered the car directly from the factory with the TRD Suspension (Not sure on what that actually means) , TRD Exhaust, & TRD Wheels. Oh and can't forget the most important modification.....the arm rest

Looking forward to meeting with locals owners. I'm sure I've run into some of y'all in my previous cars.

Holy damn that thing is cleeeean. Also that's an interesting jump between cars. If recommend checking out the pedal dance if you haven't already.

Thanks, I was originally looking at a 996 but convincing my better half that a 10+ year old Porsche is good choice just didn't fly. The 86 for my current use is the better choice and I don't regret anything! The chassis, balance, simplicity, and communication between man and machine reminded me of the S2000.

As for the peddal dance, that's interesting that they make you go through all that instead of using a button. I'll be sure to test it out at Autocross.

@DefMunkie Congrats on your new 86! Very nice with the TRD mods!! Have you ever canyon carved the twisted sisters run out near Leakey? I'm considering heading that way some Saturday morning in around mid-May. We can probably get a few other ppl interested and get a group together.

Yep, I drive the sisters a few times a year. The local autocross group is usually the fastest group I've travelled with through there. The S2000 gals/guys are also pretty quick. The Corvette group is a mixed bag. I even took a few of the local Acura TL peeps out there, that was interesting seeing a bunch of 4 door FWD 4000lbs, sedans flying through there. Counter clockwise is my favorite direction.

I'm down! We could plan a BBQ lunch out there and grab Apple Cinnamon ice cream and cookies from the Apple Orchard right before you turn on to 337

Here are the ongoing not crazy meets that I am aware of

Wednesdays - Cars and Cookies in New Braunfels
Fridays - Biff's (I35 & Topperwien)
Friday - Vapor Way (West & NW Military)
