The Baltimore Grand Prix was awesome last year, I definitely enjoyed checking out the ALMS race and Indy Qualifying on Saturday. It was an enjoyable experience but I can't justify dropping that much money again when the view is almost as good on tv. Hope you guys have a great time though, and take lots of pictures

I need to know whether @leon78 and @OrbitalEllipses are coming as passengers and who the other 4 people were who voted for the 2-day. If I have put you down for something and it's wrong, please let me know by 3:00pm today, otherwise I will send this in as our final count. Nothing here is binding, it's just a head count to reserve spots. The payment page should be up today, and I will post it when I have confirmation. Also, unless someone pony's up $40,000 we won't be able to get a parade lap . That number is for all corrals, so it may still happen outside of our group, and we will get to have one if it does. UPDATED Again: tentative count: 3-DAY: 19 Drivers 10 Passengers 2-DAY: 6 Drivers

I also have two other people who are interested in being my passengers (besides Entroper), but they aren't definite yet.
I might have a full car! |

Just sent in the count. I put leon and orbital as drivers, just in case. Here is the count:
3-Day: 19 Drivers 10 Passengers 2-Day: 7 Drivers 0 Passengers I may be able to add more later, so don't be shy, even if you didn't get in yet. If these numbers are real, then, Friday and Saturday, we will have 26 twins at the race in the corral . I am waiting to hear when the payment page is up and running and which grandstand we will get.

EDIT: We should discuss lodging plans for those that don't want to leave Baltimore every night and come back. Last edited by OrbitalEllipses; 06-26-2013 at 02:45 PM. |

I attended the Ba'more GP 2 yrs ago (2010). All I remember is it was so eff'ing hot and the cars were incredibly piercingly loud. Thank god for the bar outside the grand stands fence. And don't forgot to bring your earplugs and forget having conversations at all. As much as I love cars and racing... it was a big, hot, humid, painful mess. Probably would have been best to get a hotel room with a balcony view overlooking the track and have a party and watch it from above. Seems to be a popular choice now I hear.

So I hope I'm not too late to get into this. I'd be down for a 2-day with the old lady as passenger.
