Well, like they say - "out of sight, out of mind".

Hit a curb early this morning
At very low speed, road from home to job was clean, except for that turn completely covered in ice. Couldn't do anything more than waiting for the hit. Scratched the right wheels badly, and some noise comes from underneath the front end. I'll take the car to Toyota later today...
Winter tires mounted yesterday

More than 500'000km driven in the last 15 years, first time I hit a curb.
What a nice way to start the day

Had a dream my engine went pop. As is the case with dreams, totally implausible things felt totally normal, such as twirling the engine in my hands while it's puffing white smoke after casually plucking it from the engine bay to inspect it. Man I was upset. Felt really good to wake up from that haha

Like installing heated mirrors before they sit under your coffee table for three years?

I had to stop doing this; buying parts that never made it onto my cars. Almost every car I have sold, (or wreaked for that matter) had parts bought for it that NEVER were installed.

Currently, I still have parts not installed though.... Damn!

You know, you don't have to remove them to wash the window.

Were you having one of those when you ordered the heated mirrors?

I reckon you would be prepared for both of the times in each winter it freezes in WA -
