Little update from quite sometime ago. I was having an issue with getting P0420 with my header and just finally got around to swapping out the stock O2 sensor for a new one, and a few days later the CEL came right back.

Its not a huge deal. I just clear it with my phone every few days. I may try doubling up on the defoulers.

I think I NEED to wrap the oil pan.

Thoughts ?

Put gold heat reflective tape on the pan, just sections near the pipes so as not to block heat transfer from the pan outward.

Went tracking on a fast track (hi-speed corners yum !) -

Hottest oil temp was 20 degree's cooler, and it took longer before it maxed out.
Still, 260 is dangerous, and an oil cooler is on the way.
But I will install a proper heat shield, with some insulator material I have.

Car threw a CEL last night, code P0420 'Bank 1'. Welcome to the world of modified cars I guess.

Running TRD intake/exhaust and the UEL Catted header. Diagnosing the issue tomorrow and possibly installing a stage 1 tune...

I find it hard to believe that no one has commented on the track day performance of this yet. Have you thought about coating it?

Did, but I may have something better, cheaper, simpler, more effective, especially when coupled with oil coolers.

Stock ECU/mapping? While only the header without a remap works, full header back exhaust mods easily becomes too much for the stock ECU to accomodate over time. Apparently.

Hey guys. Im hoping to do some ecu work to bring out the full capabilities of these headers. The question is: open flash tablet ($500) or custom tune at Evasive (about $800).

By the way, I have had the headers on for two weeks now and they are fantastic! I just hope to squeeze out a bit more performance with either/or soon!
