Well, how about that weather?

Took the opportunity to wash the car (in my driveway, in shorts) and then put it in the garage (to avoid all the leaves that were blowing around) and gave it a wax.

I know that I have never done this on Dec 24th before.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I was going to do the same before the power went out most of the day. No worries about water freezing.

Hi all,

Its been awhile. Anyways just wanted to update guys with my car progress.

Got a Set of 255 wide hankook rs3 and ambit wheels. the fitment is perfect and no rubbing with my RCE T2 coilovers. Also installed the rear diffuser from ft86speedfactory. I haven't really noticed my gas mileage before but now i am able to hit 6.3l/100km on the highway. If i remember correctly the best i have done before i put the diffuser was around 6.8l/100km. Mind you these numbers where on 225 pss. I am sure these hankooks drop my mileage a lot.

this winter storage idea

Is very difficult to do. It's like being teased by the best looking girl at school daily. Every time I open the garage to take out the garbage, get in my wife's car, grab the shovel, put product in the recycle bin, there she sits, tempting me to drive her. I know it's good for the longevity of the car, but dam, it ain't easy. Mike and Chad. You are lucky, at least yours is parked away from your homes.

Get a dust cover for her - cuts the urges quite a bit

Ok So I need to get gauges for my setup now. Still not sure what I'll get though (KW SC C38) I know for sure I'll be getting a AFR/wideband. Anything else you guys would recommend ? (I was thinking maybe a Greddy Multi Da gauge with boost, Oil temp and pressure or boost oil temp and coolant temp) or should I just get a basic boost gauge and call it a day? any recommendations would be welcomed.

I have a dust cover for her, lasted for the first snow storm then I had to drive to work and I realize that beautiful dustcover I used all summer...it's just plain not going to work in winter without cleaning the car every single day...and thus I got sad and my poor baby looks all dirty all the time now

On the side note though I'm surprisingly happy with how well the FRS has been handling with the snow and ice in Ottawa, the little bit of slide going around Anderson roads new round about on the way to and from work is kinda enjoyable! Vrooom Driiiiiift.

I had Scion do the coating when I bought it earlier this year, not sure how far I trust it though. Trust there will be an in depth inspection in to make sure it worked.

*Edit- Crap, earlier LAST year...
