Sound quality is excellent. At least as good as a CD, maybe even better. I don't want to hear my same old music collection over and over again. I want to be able to turn on the "radio" and hear the kind of music that I like without commercials. Sure there are internet radios now but I still think Sirius XM is the best.

Never heard it myself but I don't know of ANY digital broadcaster in any medium who does not use some form of lossy compression, so it is never going to be as good as a CD. Of course on a non-audiophile car rig you won't necessarily notice the difference.

No satellite radio? I'm glad I wasn't in line for the FR-S from the beginning; this would've pissed me off to find that out just now! Sorry, I actually quite like Sirius/XM and the music it has to offer. I like having standard and HD radio, Sirius/XM, CD and iPod available all at once. So much variety available!
