2nd gen wheel fitment suggestions

I dont plan on a big brake kit, maybe coilovers down the road but not slammed, I dont want to add spacers, I dont want to modify body panels or deal with rubbing or scrubbing. I want to buy 245/40/17 tires and looking for either flush and or a scooch of poke is ok. If I do lower it it will NOT have the tire up in the wheel well by any means. So I want to be able to lower or keep stock without issues.

What wheel width and offset is best to accomplish this?
I understand if I do lower it It will tuck in the fender a little bit.

Im looking at rpf1 +45 9" just wanted to confirm of fitment gurus if this is best. Seem to get conflicting info on fitment.com with flush/poke

thank you

It's tricky, +45 9" would fit but with you probably might not be able to add more camber (just camber or lower it).

I'm running a 17x9 et42 with 245/40/17 and fits perfect with coilovers. It was close to rubbing on the inside on stock suspension.

Upon farther research of someone comes across this thread

On stock suspension 2nd gen
With a “flush fitment”

17 or 18 inch wheel x 8 inch wide.. run + 35 offset

17 or 18 inch wheel x 8.5 inch wide… run +40 offset

Some wheels have goofy offsets like 38 or 42… so depends if you want slight poke or nearly flush.

If you run a x9 inch wide wheel on stock suspension you will have rubbing issues and requires aftermarket suspension adjustments to work

If any of this needs corrected let me know.
