jchudson13's FR-S Build
Hey guys, thought it was time to start my own build thread, but first I want to take the time to thank everyone on here as your builds and information you've supplied has helped me a lot with and has been my inspiration for my build. Also, I want to thank PTuning, as they are awesome to do business with. I trusted them to do my install and tune for me and everything is spot on. They are my go to guys for parts, and if I decide to go for more power, I will be taking my car to them for the tune.
Now for the fun stuff! Build list so far: Everything installed and tuned by PTuning which started on April 13th 2015 and picked the car up on April 22nd. *PTuning Turbo Kit (black piping) *PTuning 4-1 EL Header *PTuning Turbo-back Exhaust *ECU and Fueling Package (Omni Power 4-bar Map Sensor, FIC 850cc fuel injectors and EcuTek License) *PTuning EBCS *PTuning Laminova Oil Cooler w/ gauge adapter *PTuning Clutch Line Kit *PTuning Windshield Washer Reservoir *Koyo Radiator *Exedy Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit *Exedy Lightened Flywheel *OEM Release Bearing *AEM Digital Boost Gauge *AEM Digital Oil Pressure Gauge *AEM Wideband AFR Gauge w/ Failsafe *Amsoil 5w30 Motor Oil *RS-R Sports-i Coilovers Dyno Pull: Last edited by jchudson13; 05-25-2015 at 09:56 PM. |

Just installed my coilovers yesterday morning, I will get pics up soon. I didn't take very many though.
I'm not sure that I did my end links correct so I'm probably going to have to put it back on the lift within the next week and adjust them, it was me and my buddy's first time installing coilovers so we didn't have too much knowledge about it. The drive home wasn't too bad, I was expecting it to be a bit stiffer but it wasn't bad at all. Bigger bumps were a little rough but to be expected. I will give more thoughts on the coilovers as I do more driving. Also I am hoping to order my new wheels next week and still deciding on what tires I want. It's between the Hankook RS3 and Toyo R1R. I see more reviews on RS3s so I thought maybe I would go with the Toyo's and giving my thoughts on them as daily driver type driving, with spirited driving. I did get a sound clip of the exhaust that I will try and get up soon as well. It's bad sound quality though since it was taken with a cell phone, and it was inside the shop. |

Pictures of the car when I installed my coilovers. I got a few decent shots of the exhaust while it was on the lift, I love the look of this exhaust. Sorry for the bad pics lol I'm not a professional picture taker or anything haha. I also got a sound clip of the exhaust that day, it's not the best sound quality since it was taken with my phone.
