The good part is at around 2:15!
Glad you and the car are ok. Good this happened on a track where there was adequate runoff.

Seriously regretted putting the summer wheels back on when I looked outside this morning.

First time I've driven the Primacy's in the snow and they really, really suck.
I wasn't expecting great things obviously, but this was surprising.
First thing I'm going to do when I get home is give my winter wheels a big hug!

AA didn't get much. All the ground/cars are covered, but the roads are clean and dry. Drove my BRZ to work on summer tires w/o any issues.

I'm sure you found that offer irresistable.

Saw a raven (I think...whatever the dark gray color is) FRS outside of CaFe Zinc in Midland today...not sure if it's anyone here or not. If so, hi

How much are you expecting for stock rims without TPMS?

So much more that I didn't even think it'd be worth negotiating with you.

Lol stock wheels really aren't worth that much, especially on a forum specific to the car, $180 isn't really that outlandish of an offer... You best bet would be the Woodward For Sale page on Facebook.

Well, thanks for having the decency to respond with a counteroffer.

If they are in almost-new condition even a set of stock wheels should fetch real close to $100 per wheel before considering shipping. $50 is a smoking good deal from somebody desperate to get rid of them. Sean very explicitly stated he wasn't in a hurry, and was looking for a good offer... although making the information public was probably a little unnecessary

FWIW, to buy a new one from a dealership their price is about $300.00 per wheel.

If you look in the FS classifieds, members are selling their stock rims for $200

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62582
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57172

and tires + rims + TPMS for $450-$600.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61507
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59325
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62014

If you remove the cost of TPMS which is $200 (TireRack info), then, that's $250-$400 for tires+rims.

TPMS cost = https://www.dropbox.com/s/iopt3oyejg...2018.10.52.png

Taking that into account, does asking $180 as a starting offer for just rims sound that unreasonable now?

Used set of TMPSs can be had for less than a $100.
Tires are close to worthless on this forum. Personally, I'd ignore a $180 offer too. If it came from an anonymous craigslist lowballer, he'd get a selection of curses as a reply.

Two examples where the rims' selling price was close to my starting offer and three examples where tires were NOT being given away worthlessly!

Personally, if somebody tried to counter without actual examples and some research, they would be cursed out very accurately.

Spotted a wrb BRZ on the way to work this morning on 96. This evening I was headed to Hines Drive and passed a black BRZ headed the opposite way on Novi Rd. Then on my way back home from that, I passed another wrb BRZ on Novi Rd. That's about as many 86's as I've seen since moving here in January...nice to see so many friends out and about haha
