Happened a coupe of weeks after getting the car. A truck trew a big rock up on the highway. I saw it coming and almost got out of the way but didn't quite manage. Decided to leave it and see how quickly it rusted. After 2 1/2 years and into the 3rd salty winter it has just started to surface rust (pics look worse than reality). It is probably a worst case scenario since it actually cut through the galvanized coating on the steel. I hope to make a meet on TO sometime this year. Tried a couple of times last summer but didn't pull it off.

What you should have done was to take a cold chisel and make 7 more chips, then touch up half of them. humfrz |

The touched up, naturally occurring chips are doing fine.

Or better, start picking at the normal chip with a chisel or something sharp to make a bigger patch so you can have a better answer 😂 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
