Unfortunately my weekend is booked solid. I'd love to join you, but I forget what my wife and kids look like.

I'm in for an evening cruise for Sat or Sun. (working both days) I'm free after 5pm both days if all goes alright.

So I remember at our last meet someone asking if f anyone has had to get a new fuel pump, but I was in another conversation and didn't catch it all. Has anyone had to get one?

The reason I ask is because I just got back from the dealership and guess what I'm getting

I got the new pump a few weeks ago. No more crickets with Petro Canada 94. Whoo hoo!

They flashed my ECU with new programing (not fuel pump related) a few days later, if they offer to do it at the same time don't do it. The Flash messed with throttle linearity (is that a word?) I'm tempted to have them flash it back, but I know I'll be doing Perrin's ECUtech sooner or later.

Lenore took a rock to the hood and windshield today. Could be the loudest noise I've ever heard from inside a car. I thought I'd been shot! Hood can be repaired, windshield... not so much. I have pics, but can't post them at the moment.
I turned around and found the rock. Nasty, nasty big f'n rock.

That sucks. Were you behind some sort of truck and it kicked it up?

I have had sizeable rocks hit the windshield before and I totally know what you mean about sounding like someone shot you.

I have also had a pair of kids throw a rock at my RSX that I had about 7+ years ago.

Hopefully Lenore gets repaired quickly.

Had a new pump put on quite a while ago (~3,000km ago) and for the first ~1,000Km there were no crickets.
But, they slowly came back....and they are just as bad! I'm always using Shell 91, but need to try Petro 94.

We have this part on order, actually, so thanks for the heads up.

I've been thinking about getting this ECU/TechStream kit for some light modding - does anyone have experience with this?

Yup, that's the culprit. I have been taunting it and calling it names all day.

If anyone know a good punishment for this nasty chunk of limestone, I'm all ears.
Does anyone have an industrial press that I could crush it slowly (very slowly, this rock must suffer).
I would keep it's powdered remains as a lesson to other rocks and stones who think that they can get away with smashing into windshields.

I kinda like pretending I have a gun sight in my windshield. I need a "LAUNCH MISSLE" button on my steering wheel.

I don't think Apple Autoglass can fill this. jk
It's hard to tell in the picture, but that crack ring is about 6 inches across.

Looks like rain tomorrow, so Sunday is a go for cruise. I'm still trying to figure out a route with minimal LEO interference. Will post asap.
