Oldest Possestions you still use...not automotive

I''m sure there are some old cars in the garages...but, this is about off-topic items...

Mine would be a Wilson A2000XL glove my paternal Grandfather bought for me I guess in 1977 as a highshool sophmore...

Second would be a Case Large Congress my other Grandfather left me when he passed in 1985...This knife is circa 1972 if I'm correct...

Next would be a Ithaca Flues Double Barrel shotgun Field Grade 20 gauge...built sometime in the Late 1920's - 1930's...I received it from my father shortly after I got the Case knife...it burned up a couple of cases of #7 bird shot on opening day of Dove season over the years...mine is not nearly as well kept as this example...but, to this day it still functions as well as it ever has...

This girl that I picked up in about 1980. Is a 1961 vintage but still has a few years of use left I think.

Unfortunately, I've never been given anything with heritage. My oldest possession of something I -still use- is a pair of Sennheiser HD595 headphones I bought in 2006. These are powered by a LittleDot MK1+headphone amp that I also bought around that time. Just needs new bulbs once in a while, and the headphones still work!

I have my grandfather's guitar from the 1930s but don't use it so it doesn't qualify for discussion here.
It is probably the only thing that I received with heritage since my family were very poor and anything with value that my dad got was sold or traded as soon as it was obtained.

UGH...forgot about my 1962 model chick I picked up in 1984....the compassion & generosity of that women continues to amaze me...

1930's guitars can be amazing sounding & just as useful as my old Ithaca...should you want to restore it I'm acquaintances with one of the more famous luthier's here in the States...Dan Lashbrook.

It is a late 30s Kalamazoo. The cheapest one made and pretty much worn out with a couple of pieces missing. Not playable without major restoration. He was a semi professional musician but the stand up bass was more his instrument. Still didn't stop him from putting a lot of miles on that poor old guitar.

I usually have a reason to use my grandfather's old level a few times a year...his compass not so much, but once in a while.

Too bad my grandfather's slide rule is overkill for the math I do today...

Mines the 1976 house I guess.

Nice...I too have a Wagner low side cast iron skillet that my Mother cooked on when I was a kid...Guess it would be mid to late 1960's...cooked breakfast this morning on it.
