Corsa vs. Perrin Exhaust

Has anyone heard both the Corsa and Perrin (resonated) catbacks? I'm hoping someone can provide some firsthand feedback on how they sound different.

both are nice exhausts. i have a perrin 3" catback and im totally in love with it. constantly getting compliments on the aggressive but not stupid loud exhaust note it puts out. i have added JDL uel's and the sound is just that much better.

Do you have stock mid and over pipe? I also have the Perrin 3" resonated and want to know how much louder it gets with headers.

sound is one of those subjective things and varies from one person to the next. ive been meaning to post a sound clip.
i have 2.5" overpipe and 3" front pipe as well. some ppl on here complain about the 3" being too loud with headers o/p f/p. my morning start ups are stupid loud. not going to lie. sounds like god is coming. i actually feel like a bit of an asshole when i leave super early. the exhaust does quiet dont considerably after 30-45sec after the cams do their thing, and then to a nice purr once the rpms finally drop. once warm it sounds amazing. just the start up annoys me. now cruising it just sounds amazing and get nothing but props.

I have heard them both side by side, on otherwise stock setup. Both were 2.5". Perrin was a wee bit quieter, and maybe a bit deeper. The Corsa has a slightly more raw, gritty sound that I prefer. Understand though, both sound great. I personally own the Corsa and could not be happier with it. If I had chosen the Perrin, I believe I would be just as happy.

Cool

Is there an advantage to choosing the 3" as I see Corsa does not offer a 3" version.

Would you say the Corsa sounds more boxerish?

Nevermind. I found on another thread that you will lose HP if running NA 3"

Circuit motorsports has removed alot of the sound in my car during cold starts.
Still revs higher, but not as loud.
Other tuners can probably help you out as well.

You'll be fine. No problems with my Perrin CBE after numerous track days, autocrosses, and daily driving. There are hundreds (thousands?) of other owners who have CBEs on their car and none have any issues with it leaning out the AFR.
