How to add door courtesy light

You dont need to go through the door and tap into the dome light.
just tap into the wires in the door

What gauge wire did you use? also is it necessary to add an in-line fuse or no?

The wire I used was about a 14 gauge and I didn't bother to use a fuse

This is awesome! I cant believe u were the first one to share this after the car has been out for so long!



I kept putting off this project bc I didn't want to run extra power wires through the door grommet.


Just a small tip. I freaked out after doing this mod bc the window didn't automatically rolled up ~1inch after closing the door. (I disconnected battery before staring) Thought I blew a fuse, but wasn't. Just have to open the window all the way down, then all the way up so the window can reinitialze
