I might have bought myself a bit of time by renewing this year's registration online a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully I'll get my tag for 2020 and have time to wait for others to get the recall done before I bring mine in. I don't want to be the guinea pig, especially with FA.
I am in same boat.
i have phatom SC and full bolts-on and southbend stage 2 clutch and velox clutch fork on it.

I have a leak somewhere... not sure where exactly though... its been there for like 80k miles but its so small that i dont really even need to top it off between oil changes... might lose an once every 3k miles and ive been changing every 10k without any problems or bad results from blackstone.

Ok , so my letter from Subaru came yesterday. I do not want to be the first in line so I am going to wait to call for an appt. (let them try this out on other BRZs first)

My question--if I delay getting it done and one of the springs go and destroy the engine, will the repair be covered? or will Subaru say I am out of luck since I didn't call right away for the spring replacement??

Yeah this guy has as manual but even on the auto, if I recall correctly, they only disconnect the ARB. Disconnecting the ARB alone would have no impact on alignment.

I can't answer your question directly but logically they have no way of proving you got the notice, only that they sent it. Also, they are also paying for repairs retroactively (or it least Toyota is) as long as you have the receipts showing the valve springs were the cause. Also, the chance of having this failure are pretty small to begin with....

Good point. Not sent by certified mail, so who knows when or if I got the notice!

Anyone who as taken in a modified car care to share how it went? I will be contacting my local dealer soon about the recall, but I am on full exhaust, tune, ect. I can't imagine it will be an issue.

I'm a little weary of taking my car in for the valve spring recall. My engine internals are not modified but everything else is (supercharger, oil cooler, etc).

Yeah, it's a manual. My plan is when I get my car back to contact Toyota Corporate and complain, and get them to pay for a realignment elsewhere (it probably won't actually need it, but if the dealer is saying they took out suspension parts, I'm going to take them at their word), and then never go back to this dealer.

Those are the dates listed on the Subaru USA recall, other countries may have different dates.

Car is in the dealership's hands now. They're replacing the clutch and plugs as well. I'll update if they bitch about the oil cooler! I imagine the labor I get charged for the clutch won't be the same for everyone, as it seems like it's up to the tech to determine how long it takes them to remove 14 bolts and slide the new hardware on.

They won't bitch about it but they may charge you for any additional work it creates. The answer to the many people that asked "what about my modified car" was buried in this thread all along.

Glad I told them not to re-install it! Thank you, I did totally miss this.
