Rocket Bunny v2 Bumper Lights change

This week, I'm predicted to receive a rocket bunny v2 front bumper in the mail (used). Now, it does not come with the LED lights. I'm thinking about changing the LED lights to a cheaper alternative or color changing lights controlled with a remote.

Has anyone used alternative lights?
If so, what product did you use and how did you mount/wire.

Thanks,

I have some cheap Amazon lights. They work but they are all weird separately so it's kinda a pain to wire em up.

The rocket bunny lights were out of stock with no restock date so I decided I'd just get a cheap pair for now.

They have lots of options in Amazon and they're super cheap, but they work.

Search for rocket bunny v2 drl. That should work. If not lemme know and I'll search my Amazon for the order (there were lots of kits available in multiple colors and varieties).

@ap3x they are kind of annoying.

Wrap all the pos wires together, put them in a butt splice and crimp em.
Wrap all the neg wires together, put them in a butt splice and crimp em.
Put the pos side marker light into the other end of the pos butt splice and crimp it.
Put the neg side marker light into the other end of the pos butt splice and crimp it.

This was what I did as a quick preliminary wiring job. I've left em there because it can be a pain to get the bumper off and I've been lazy lately.

You could most likely wire them to your fog lights instead where you can control them to turn them on and off as you wish.

I was planning to either wire them to the fog lights, or getting a little module to wire them to in order to control their patterns, but again, too lazy so far as I'd have to learn how to use it. I guess future project.

Let me know if you need more help. I can get some pics later (it's pouring out there now).

thanks for the reply! I actually have the rocket bunny DRL that are switch backs. I'm guessing they might have to be wired differently than yours. I like your fog light idea and might have to look into that as well. Here are some pics of how the rocket bunny DRL looks like

Are there any diagrams with it or anything? It looks like red and black go to pos/neg source, then the wire accompanying the light plugs goes to the light (not sure which light specifically, but if volts are good, then any light might work.) Note that depending on which light you choose these will turn on when the light does. I am not sure where yellow, white, and grey go. I'd have to see it to work it out, or if there are diagrams, it may help.

thank you again! I will attempt to do this with your information as soon as i have some time. I want to also fit some fog lights into the holes on the bumper. Probably too ambitious for the limited knowledge i have in wiring but we'll see haha.

btw there's a green colored wire located on the side marker. The green wire is the DRL correct? and the red wire on the side marker is the turn signals?

Got a pic? I think it should just be + and - on the side markers.

I was planning to try to add fog lights there also, haha. I posted asking if anyone knew what the holes are for in the hopes of fog lights. I think it's just meant for airflow, but I still will attempt fog lights someday.
