Talking NorCal 86DRIVE's Annual Gizdich Ranch Pie Run 2018 - Aug 18

Saturday, August 18 at 8:30 AM

I feel the need ... the need .... for DUTCH APPLE PIE!!!!

It’s time for our annual drive down to Gizdich Ranch in Watsonville, CA! One of our most popular destinations for some delicious apple pie or other fruit pies. You’ll want to eat a slice there and take a whole pie home with you.
Join us for an annual 86DRIVE tradition, where we get together and do a short backroads cruise before arriving at the Gizdich Ranch where delicious apple and other fruit pies await. Last year we were disappointed by them running out of the favorite Dutch Apple Pie by the time we got there after lunch, so I'm not making that mistake this year. We'll roll out of the meeting point by 8:30AM and get there in the morning to ensure we can get the pies we want. Then we'll be done early and you can still have the rest of the day to do whatever you want!

Meet up point for the drive:
Chevy's - 5305 Almaden Expy, San Jose, CA 95118

Address for the Gizdich Ranch:
55 Peckham Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076

Other makes and models welcome to join us, as long as they behave on the drive.

Hope to see you guys there.

Wife and I will try our best to make it. We will probably pack picnic lunch. Anyone else plan to picnic?

As much as I want to make this, I just don't think it's physically possible for me considering a) I may be working that day and b) if I'm not working that day, my 10-hour night shift from Friday would end past 4am.
