More from the waiver everybody will be required to sign at the gate:
5. (The undersigned) Expressly acknowledges that the ACTIVITIES OF THE EVENT ARE VERY DANGEROUS and involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage. EACH OF THE UNDERSIGNED also expressly acknowledges that INJURIES RECIEVED MAY BE COMPOUNDED OR INCREASED BY NEGLIGENT RESCUE OPERATIONS OR THE RELEASEES. |

Oh, and your comment about animals is kind of cute. Except for the fact that I struck a deer in the mid 80s while road racing a GSXR at SIR. Never say never. |

it will be pretty safe there. and 80 will be lucky on a straight stretch. its not really a race. its a familiarity of your car. its a fun event not determining whos faster, theres no passing. this is not like a regular race day. that waiver is the tracks. mostly ment for real race days involving passing, being on peoples but, and accidents. and a requirement to be on the track. this will be a very safe track day. that will have a pace car. and if anyone sees something unsafe everything will be put to a halt. if you dont want to race. you still can go just be part of the show. or do the gymkhana where no one will be around you while you take the course

@Pete156 yes you are correct, there will be no insurance available at this event. I understand your caution. Please contact Toyota of Olympia through the website used to purchase the ticket for a refund.
I appreciate your support at all our meets and hope to see you at our future ones as well. We still have the Meet and Greet option if you are interested, as we always do enjoy you showing your AVO Turbo'd vehicle to the masses and answering their questions as you have always brought a smile and positive attitude. If we don't see you there, until our next 86 Sessions meet Pete! Be safe!

Thanks Bernie,
This 86 community is really great! I don't blame the organizers or sponsors for the insurance snafu. It seems odd to me that this appears to be the only event at The Ridge that no insurance is available for during the entire month of July. I hope to be able to donate another performance part(s) specific to the 86 chassis to either be raffled off or given away during this event. I understand that many members who participate in 86 Sessions events may not have the financial resources, yet would love to be able to modify their rides. As someone who has the ability, I would like to bring another smile to a members face. Bernie I will contact you via PM to let you know what I have to offer. Pete |

Not sure if it's already been asked/stated in this thread, but I'm just going to ask...
Do we have a solid time people need to arrive by for the track time? I'm just curious since a lot of us will be commuting up from the PDX area. Need to make sure we're on time. |

All track, gymkhana, car show and meet and greet 86s need to be at the gate at 9am so that we can maximize track time and have a driver's meeting.

WE'VE GOT 86 Final Reminders! Hey guys! The biggest event for our 86 community is just around the corner! We are excited once again to come together and meet our fellow 86 enthusiasts! Here are just a few reminders for the day of! All track, gymkhana, car show/meet & greet FRS/BRZ/86 enthusiasts need to be at the gates by 9am so we can get everyone set-up, parked, and track gear unloaded. All Track and Gymkhana participants must have their car in full working order with no oil leaks, etc. Please remove all loose items from the vehicle to include the trunk space. Long pants and closed toe footwear will be the required attire for all drivers. One of our member's Kurt Miyatake will be getting in touch with all registered track participants via email to ensure that you all have a great and safe time on the track! For those of you meeting at one of the pre-meet convoys, please arrive on-time or earlier as the 3 lead drivers Jim Slyphen Zhu (North End), Adrienne Barnett (East End), and Aaron Parkins (South End) will be leaving on time and will be unable to wait for stragglers. This will be a nice, slow, casual cruise to the final destination. Lastly, please bring CASH if you plan on paying/participating on the day of. For those who are taking advantage of the Front Lip deal for the FRS/BRZ by speed zone they will only be accepting cash as well. Bring extra money as there will be deals available only at the event! This is gonna be awesome! Photo Credit: Thanks to Michael Vang who snagged this pic at our last pre-meet in 2015!

Bernie, I realized that when I registered in a hurry a few weeks back I checked to pick up tickets at "will call". Is that going to be a big hassle and if so is there a way to change it so I can just print my ticket?

I also did will call, dont think you can print them out. I remember there being only two options when registering, will call and by mail, I'm guessing alot of other people chose will call too, I dont see it being an issue unless someone says otherwise

Shouldnt be an issue guys if you have a screenshot or printout that would help, but as long as you have an ID and you are the one who paid for the ticket you should be good

The weather looks to be pretty bad this weekend... how does this affect things, if at all?
