I'd park the car in the exact same spot and set up ambush with a few friends.

A-hole was trying to break in before...what do you think he's going to do next...?
Maybe the guy said it was his car and he was locked out and was trying to get back in? I know a lot of people would of fallen for that...

Then I hear a woman ask me if it was my car from 50ft away. I said "Ummm...yeah. Whhhyyyy?" Then I see a screwdriver sticking out of it as I walk up.

That guy in the background was the one that did it. Have the fucker's finger prints on the window and trunk. Too bad I didn't find out until the witnesses said it was him after he left(I don't blame them cause their kids were around), so calling the police was useless(police said that all they'll do is take a statement when I did eventually call). Funny thing is that I'm guessing he stuck around to get his screwdriver back. I'm hoping he stuck around long enough to hear me say that I was going to keep it as a souvenir. Gonna leave it on my dash tomorrow with a note saying "Thanks for the screwdriver!" with his picture on it.

Now I have serious buffeting coming from that side of the car when going over 50mph. Mother Fuck.

Passenger window is chipped, weather stripping is punctured, gasket behind the weather stripping on the inside of the car is punctured, and I'm guessing that the window track needs to be readjusted as well as the door.

If anyone can recommend a body shop in the Boston area that will make sure this thing is fixed right, I'm all ears.

*Please, no comments about the "curse" or racially coded language. TIA

I would seriously beat the hell out of someone for doing that to my car.

He basically pullled the scam that RAWR BRZ was talking about and part of the reason why the family didn't say anything right away. The father was about to help the thief until the mother said yelled at me form 50ft away. It literally happened as I was walking back to my car. He probably isn't the brightest bulb on the tree and figured he could get it back afterwards somehow...that is until I said that I was going to keep it for a souvenir. The father was saying that they could get prints off of it too, which probably influenced the the person to stay.

I figure I'd take a pic for evidence and happened to get my reflection in it...didn't even realize I had a photo of him until I looked later.

Cops are going to LOVE this one for the LULZ alone. Probably won't result in anything though.

Brash, bold theives like this should be accosted and beaten in public. Perhaps that action would deter these criminals. (He can't break into cars if his arms are broken)

I'd be picking up pieces of glass for weeks if he managed to shatter it. No one got hurt and that's what counts.

You should inform the local cops. Just get your phone and tell them what is going on.
Two guys were trying to steal mails of my neighborhoods in the morning. I saw them, but I could not remember exactly the license plate. My neighbor saw it and called the local cops immediately. Guess what? The lost mails were returned on the same day

My alert is going down the hill these days. I think I should have initiated first to make the call.

Can you park your car at where surveillance cameras are enforced or somewhere close to stores or shops.
