Looks great buddy!
& i bet this car overall is rare in Europe since it's quiet pricey there and most consumers prefer european make cars I've noticed.

Thanks!

These cars are rare in the Netherlands, because they are heavily taxed because of emissions, if they would have had a 1.4 turbo all would be fine, but a 2.0 NA engine isn't that 'clean'. Thus the GT86 and BRZ cost around 56k USD new over here, while in Germany and Belgium (our neighbors), these cars cost around 35k USD, so no wonder they are much more seen in Germany and Belgium. Second handed though the price difference isn't that big, which was also the reason I could buy one used last year

Had a road trip through Europe last week, drove over 3000km. My wife and 1,5 years old daughter also joined, surprise surprise, it all fitted inside the car (including diapers, clothing, strollers etc), my daughter really enjoyed her Recaro seat

First we went to Germany for the annual Gt86drivers.de meeting, over 80 cars present, one of the largest meetings in Europe for our Twins:

Then we went to Venice, no use for the car there, it was parked at the airport (and scraped on the way in).

Then to Garda lake, beautiful drives through the hills, tunnels and nice surroundings.

Lastly on the way back home, through the famous Stelvio Pass, really awesome drive. Highly recommended for any petrol head!

I enjoyed the car every second, such a nice drive, both in the twisties and on the Autobahn. On the last day I managed to get a serious puncture in the front right tire. Had to get the car transported to a shop near (fortunately still open on Saturday afternoon) and the tire swapped. I'll buy a space saver asap.

How did i miss this beautiful update!? The scenery & car look gorgeous in those pictures! Wow!

This is my favorite picture just because of the stance of the car. Just looks so perfectly balanced

Thank you! I love to think its a functional stance :P all though it could use a bit less camber in the back.

I have another update, this is the second last TRD part I got for this car, the steering wheel. I thought I would never find it for a 'normal' price as the piece is discontinued now, but luckily someone in my club was going back to stock I'm loving it, smaller and thicker than stock, TRD logo and 12 o' clock mark.

Absolutely gorgeous car and build! I love the mods you are making to personalize the car, and the European scenery in your photos perfectly complement your car.

That steering wheel looks awesome!
I definitely want it in the future as a final piece for my build...if I will be able to find a good condition one.

It's quiet sad that they discontinued it....not sure why they would.

Thanks and thanks, yes the European scenery looks awesome, to bad it's a 1000km drive to get there, my part of Europe is 100% flat.

The steering wheel is probably discontinued as the my17 has a completely different wheel.

I always wanted a nice looking set of calipers, so when these WRX STI calipers + pads + rotors popped up locally I just couldn't say no.

Also added some small parts to the interior (carbon overlays for the window controls and clock, black parts from the Pure model, polished AC knobs), this pretty much finalizes my interior:

With the nice colors from autumn I made some extra pics

Very nice car. I actually dislike anything else than 2 exhaust pipes in the back but on your car as the complete car it looks great! And the interior. Great work!! keep on

Small update, found some new STI calipers for the front, swapping the bleeders was super easy, just applied some heat (heat gun for 5 minutes, this didn't ruin the paint) and the blinds came out with ease. The STI logo on a TRD car is no good, so I carefully sanded the STI of with 1200 gritt, without going through the black Brembo coating, applied an TRD decal and some VHT Caliper paint clear coat . They'll be fitted next weekend

Yes I already have STI brembos but the paint is not that nice and thought it was easier to fit some new ones (found them for a good price) and sell the current ones later on
