and the FR-S rubber necking still lives...
Sitting in a Starbucks of of HWY 101, i've overheard over 13 people talking about the car. "Its derived from other old cars," and "i want one, they not fast, but sh!t, they look wild," to "wonder who owns it?" and "lets got take a picture (oh look! This ones a Toyotuh)."
A newer Carrera and a Corvette parked their cars around mine and the older gents that owned those cars walked around the FR-S... given theres only about 5 in my area (50) mile radius. 30 min studying here so far. Imagine if i sat here for half a day...id probably be seen as a hobo. Now, a raptor??? Or whatever the sporty 3 wheel motorcycle is called parked next to me and the drivers wife pointed at the FR-S and the guy just scratched his head. I gotta say guys. Im loving the attention whoring. And here i found myself reading that the twins dont have no flair no more. I could only picture myself walking over to the car while the rubber necks and the people around it. Chika bow wow. P.s.unfortunately 90% of the admirers have been dudes.

Do we really need 5+ threads about this daily? We get it. It's a good looking car... enough circle jerking.

To the random person, I think these cars look much more expensive than they are. I've gotten more random compliments and rubber necking in the FR-S than probably all my previous cars combined (STI, Boxster S, 350z, GTI, etc.)

There's just not alot of cars out there that look like the twins. When I see one in the wild .... the car just looks so low and agile. Looks like a small go cart next to all the huge cars and trucks around it.

Its strange but out here there are lots of them on the street...I don't go a single day without seeing at least 2 on my commute and often times more. Yet as common as they are around here I still get lots of stares and comments

I've had my FR-S for about 18 months and still get compliments on it. Most people always seem a bit disappointed when they find out how much power it actually has though. I've lost count of how many times somebody has asked me if it was a V6. lol

Take a drive to Laguna Seca on any day they host a non brand specific HPDE, typically if you go early you can just roll on in, you'll see at least 12.
