Omg you're right. Upon first glance I thought one of the dash pieces wasn't installed. The discontinuity is horrendous..

It's got flappy paddles so it looks like it's an auto to me.

May look fine with the car turned on and it all filled in with whatever info will be there. Does look very sparse with it off though.

I think he was talking about the trim around the nav screen.

Ahhh that as well! They are their but since a different material just doe not show up well in the pic. May look great in an overall view.
My mind went straight to that blank looking gauge that doesn't fit with the other two when I read the comment.

Different body color, yes, but the rest is just OEM wheels and badges painted black (and I don't think the black works as well on such a bright color.) It did get a blue stitched interior but I can't remember if it got the blue leather and Alcantara accents the Series.Blue got. The Series.Blue also got red painted brakes, a FULL body kit (including the JDM underbody aero trays), and entirely different wheels that were actually lighter. I just felt like you got a lot more for your money.

The HyperBlue almost seemed like they were charging a premium just for the color, and at the last minute realized they should probably throw in some other bonuses too I'd they wanted to sell it, if that makes sense.
Hey Stang70Fastback,

The Hyperblue did not get any of the blue leather, but rather a Hyperblue color stitching. Personally I think I prefer this more calmed down look because Hyperblue leather on the inside may be a bit much. I will say though, I am not a big fan of the stock wheels, but let me tell you, it's a whole new game when they are gloss black, they look sleek. As for the red calipers, do you like those? I feel that they take away from the color combo of black and blue in the Series.Blue. As for value I think it's about even believe it or not. MSRP for a Series.Blue was 30,285 as per Jalopnik (sorry I cant find an official subaru release statement). The Hyperblue MSRP is 27690. The reason I say the same is believe it or not the Hyperblue I believe is a few hundred more/less than the regular limited so thats a deal in itself, secondly I am seriously considering buying a Hyperblue and have priced what it will cost me to get the exterior pieces, wheels and aero kit and its about 3000. So once you add it up they are about the same price. I am not sure but I believe the Hyperblue gets those underbody panels as well.

This was a great find and looks like it could be legit. After reading through the posts it looks like my feelings about the facelift are in line with everyone else. Overall I think Subaru did a great job with the facelift compared to the new 86.

Likes:
New front bumper looks fantastic
New headlights and tails are nice (although I prefer the current gen)
Wheels look good even with those odd fangs
New passenger dash looks great with red stitching

Dislikes:
The steering controls look awful
The new gauge cluster looks bland
New dash around the nav looks out of place
Faux carbon fiber looks cheesy

Time for a '17 front end swap. I need those headlights, and the bumper revision is just so clean.

I'll keep mine, thanks. The only thing I like is the new front bumper, except I want my fogs and DRLs and the new headlights are too busy. The rest is either meh or a solid miss.
