Inside Line - BRZ Full Test Review

And so it begins...

http://www.insideline.com/subaru/brz...and-video.html

The takeaway:

"Perhaps there's a lesson here. If this is all that's required to make a sports car with elegant control, engaging feedback and enlightening limits, we have only one question:

Why isn't every manufacturer doing it?"

UPDATE: Looks like every other car rag is debuting their reviews as well. Happy Friday!

Nice review.

I wonder if that skidpad was on the prius tires or not.

There was no indication that it wasn't. If you're like me, you're imagining how high that number will go with a set of stickier tires.

Skidpad on Prius tires: .92G. Incredible, better than Mustang GT, 2013 GC. And the tires appear to wear very well. A 0-60 of 7.3 blows chunks but that is with a 2-3 upshift at 59.

Extremely interesting he had to shift to third for the 0-60

Other mags got better 0-60. one hit a 14.9 1/4 at 95 and a mid 6 0-60. even in the comments they stated the issue was the 2nd gear ran out at 59mph leading to lower 0-60.

The god like drivers of motortrend posted 6.4 0-60.

motortrend 0-60 is the standard in the industry IMO.

I'd knock 1 second off the 0-60 time for the upshift. 59 is essentially 60, it's gonna feel like a 6 second car.
