This is my fit. I just sold it 3 weeks ago and got a 2014 asphalt frs. Owned the fit for a year, having some regrets selling it but whatever. Last edited by StancedLifestyle; 10-11-2013 at 03:06 AM. |

which level of dampening are you set up in front and rear?
and i installed mine couples days ago, but mines been making a clunking noise for some reason, tighten all the bolts and and the endlinks, it went away but kind of came back after couple days. and endlinks suppose to be installed both facing the opposite way right?? i found another diy that says it should be installed both facing the same direction. |

Rear's not as low as fronts?
Are your rears as low as your fronts? I seem to have a bit of thread left to keep going down but it stops. My rears are like an inch higher than the fronts. I do have the front camber maxed out also. I know camber makes a difference but that much? I just can't seem to get the rear to tuck the stock 17 tires. Have you went any lower since installation? Thanks man!

Does it matter what side they go on. I took them out of the box and mixed them up

Would stock endlink work fine with these stance coilovers?

If you set your car up at stock height then yeah, but if you lower the car then you should go to a shorter endlink. Either use what Stance supplies or get something aftermarket. You could also cut and re-weld the OEM ones to shorten them. I ran that set up for over a year and it was fine but I switched over to Whiteline a few months ago.

Also i got my stance setup used and just notice the wear as posted above should i just use it temporarily as mentioned above? I'm getting some f/r sway bars + endlinks under bushing in a few months so i was thinking of doing that alittle later since i don't track autocross my xar. I really want to get rid of that wheel gap asap as that's very annoying to me now Thanks |

So should i even attempt the wore out ones that come with the kit better than using the stock that can cause binding?

The main thing you need to worry about with the oem links is them hitting the control arm. If they clear then your good and just wait until your whiteline ones come in. But again this really depends how low your are trying to go. Just dropping it like an 1.5" it should be fine but if you go like 4" then you might run into trouble.

Got it installed today and used the stock endlinks. There's some clearance to it so i decided to go with for now. Took it for about 70miles test run and it felt great and didn't notice anything odd sounds. I set it to max soft setting for now but will definitely give it about 5-7 more clicks so it can be alittle firmer and to go from there.
Wonder what others set it to for dd/spirit driving? |

When adjusting height and dampen settings should I jack up the car or leave it on the ground?
