Some really great sound clips made a few months ago of the PERRIN exhaust can be found here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...49&postcount=3

Welcome to the group. Black is the way to go. I have been super happy with mine. Works with my theme of blacking stuff out on my hot lava.

I got this exhaust installed yesterday and I absolutely love it. I almost got the GReddy SP Elite system based on price and so forth and I'm definitely glad I spent a few extra dollars. Great sound, a little peppier on the gas, and the tips look great. Definitely satisfied.

Big props to FT-86SpeedFactory for great service too. It's been a long time since I've gotten a personalized email from a parts vendor upon ordering.

Can you guys with the 2.5 tips say if you wish they were a little bigger (like a full 3)? I'm torn between the size myself. The 3 sounds nice but do you feel that that 2.5 is enough and fills the gaps well?

The exhaust tips are 4 inch from Perrin. The tubing is 2.5. I am aware that they make an exhaust with 3 inch tubing which is also mated to a 4 inch tip.

Coming from stock, the 4 inch tips fill the rear fender out nicely. If they were any larger it would seem like I was trying to imitate a GTR. For some reason I get the impression that larger tips imply larger power which is something this car doesn't have. I would feel like a poser with any larger tips but that's just my feels.

Dang, well I feel like an idiot... You'd think after all the months I've been following the exhaust I'd understand the measurements!

Perrin Linked to this earlier in the thread. They're pretty accurate clips but I'd say the exhaust sounds even deeper in person.

Greddy's products are very high quality. As with any exhaust, the elements of whether will take it's toll on them. Unless it's a Tomei full titanium exhaust

That is a very good look on your car with the diffuser. I'm not sure I'd say it wouldn't attract attention, though hehe. Looks sharp.

Thanks buddy. I'm sure it'll only attract attention from eagle eye'd enthusiasts like you.
