It will but diameter of HKS is smaller and it doesn't look as "right" as TRD quad.

Does the Legmax Sports Dual/Quad use the oem donut gasket or is it flat flanged?

Most if not all catback reuse the OEM donut gasket to connect the front-pipe to the mid-pipe. Also, when you buy a catback you will get new gaskets to connect the mid-pipe and the muffler.

Why do the axleback and the catback have the same price?
It's not just in this post, it's repeated everywhere.

I think the full catback was closer to $1300 when it first. Maybe they realized most CB's for this car were under $1000 and had to change there pricing. The axle back should have been dropped too but I guess they wanted to fool a few suckers

Both the axle back and full catback have always been the same or about the same price (I directly spoke to them about this before I purchased mine). I know it's strange but that's honestly the way they've priced it and it still holds true today.
One should expect to pay between $750 and $900 depending on where you look.

Are the HKS Legamax Sports backboxes mufflers or resonators?

Sorry to bump an old thread but trying to get solid info on HKS catback fitment for the 18-19 BRZ. Based on what I’m reading it looks like the Spec L catback will fit all model years, however the Legamax Premium catback will NOT fit the later model cars. Can anyone confirm or deny this info?

If you're talking about the HKS Legamax axleback, then yes, that doesn't fit your 2017 plus car because the midpipe changed. If you get the HKS Legamax option that includes a midpipe then it'll fit. Check the first post of the thread for photos.

My Spec L fits on my 2018 86.

That makes sense... most websites list that the Legamax catback does not fit newer cars either.. so strange

Appreciate the replies. HKS website lists the Legamax Premium catback fits all model years as well, so I pulled the trigger

Ive always wanted their High Power V2, but I cant get any information for it. I think its for 17+ and only 1 or 2 places sell it with stock photos only.

I’ve seen the updated Legamax axle back for 17+ With the burnt tips, but haven’t seen an updated hi power system. Would seem odd for them to make another system since the older ones work with all model years.
