Speaking of shows that look like kids shows, I gave Little Witch Academia a shot. It probably is actually a kids show, but I still enjoy it. Particularly the episode where it does a a good 60 second copy-paste from Gurren Lagann. I goddamn died laughing.

Yeah, when I saw it drop I was like, "I guess since this is considered a classic, as a proper anime fan I should probably watch it."

on Evangelion...If you think of it as the explanation for the origins of the human race(genesis) in the future(neon) by angels (evil/angels...evangelion) tada...:P
I was so sad she died though. RIP. You loved sports cars, drove like a maniac, drank like a sailor and kicked ass...plus you were absolutely beautiful.

Yeah, definitely gonna do this because I just finished the show and that ending wasn't nearly as confusing as I had been led to believe. It just kinda... ends. I expected to be confused by some crazy psychological stuff that was smarter than me, but nope. Just confused by it ending.

LOL, its like the movie 2001:space odyssey, if you don't read the book, damn movie makes almost no sense.

As I was saying, the movie/episodes 25' and 26' definitely made it make a lot more sense. I'm actually almost disappointed haha. This show didn't confuse me nearly as much as I had gone in expecting. Was it weird as hell? Yes. Did it completely f my mind? Well... no. I feel like having watched the Devilman remake might have something to do with that.

I feel like Eva can be summed up pretty simply as a cautionary tale about hubris. (I haven't read or watched any discussions, reviews, or Eva-centric fan theories/explainers so I have no clue if this what a billion other people have already said)
